Help Marin Audubon Remove Invasive Sea Lavender

Hello Friends of the Shoreline,

It is that time again when we head for the shoreline to remove the invasive sea lavender and help protect the native plants and animals that live along the marshes and shorelines of Marin County.

We provide the gloves, tools, supplies, instruction and snacks and just ask that you bring water and an eagerness to help keep the shoreline healthy and enjoy the morning in a peaceful and beautiful location with other nice people.

Please SAVE some DATES!

The dates that we will be going out are:

Saturdays: May 11th and June 1st

Sundays: May 19th, May 26th, June 9th, June 16th and June 23rd.

We usually work from 9:00 until noon. Times will be posted with information for each date and site.

Any amount of time you can give will be greatly appreciated!

There may also be some 'pop-up' weekdays. I will let you know when those are scheduled.

If you would like to do some of this work on other day(s) than those that are scheduled, let me know and I can arrange for it.

Also, If you would like to come out as a group, I can arrange that too!

I will send out locations as the dates come closer.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!

Because of the sensitive plants that live in many of these areas, children under 12 will not be able to help at most locations.

Please let me know if you no longer want to receive these emails.

I hope you can join us!

Thanks,

Jude Stalker
